Job Description
Cumulus-Huntsville's 104.3 WZYP is looking for our newest part of the team!
We are on the search for someone who loves WZYP, hit music, pop culture, social media, representing, and having fun.
This is a part time position and duties would include helping out our air staff and greeting listeners at WZYP events and promotions,
driving the WZYP truck, operating the control board during live broadcasts, and a possible weekend/fill in air shift.
Radio experience is a plus but is not required. We are simply looking for someone with a great attitude who wants to be part
of a great community radio station!
Job Requirements
- Some college radio or small market radio experience preferred (but not required)
- Previous board operation experience
- Audio production skills
- Familiar with FCC rules and regulations and EAS guidelines
- Proficient using computer systems such as Microsoft Office Suite, OpX, AudioVault, Wide Orbit, ENCO, Soundgorge, Nuendo, Adobe Audition or other audio editing and automation programs
- Knowledge of basic electronic wiring and sound system set-up
- Familiar with audio mixers and remote monitoring systems for radio transmissions
- Flexibility in scheduling required; majority of the hours are in the evenings, weekends and holidays
- Clean Driving record required
