CUMULUS MEDIA | Myrtle Beach is seeking a talented and dynamic Integrated Marketing Executive to join our team of B2B sales professionals. You must possess very strong phone and communication skills. Daily activities include phone, video conference, and/or in-person presentations to business owners and decisions makers; cold calling for appointments, identifying new business opportunities; strategic marketing campaign planning with existing clients, and more. Our training provides you with the knowledge to effectively present best in class integrated custom marketing solutions for your clients that can include radio, audio online streaming through our station websites and mobile apps, podcasts, Targeted Digital Display, Geo Framing Display, Adwords, SEM, mobile marketing, SMS texting, OTT, YouTube and various social media platforms like Facebook, IG and much much more.

This a high-income potential commission-based outside/inside sales position. 

Who We Are: 

CUMULUS Media owns and operates over 425 radio stations throughout the United States including Myrtle Beach,  South Carolina and the surrounding counties. The Grand Strand is home to 98.5 Kiss FM, 100.3 The Team, Sunny 103.1 and Nash 106.5.  Each day the varied formats reach and entertain thousands of listeners of all ages throughout the Grand Strand. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily prospecting and appointment setting with new and existing clients. 
  • Networking, cold calling, canvassing, referrals, or other means to build and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects
  • Meet with and identify client business goals and objectives. Develop customized advertising solutions to meet client's stated goals and objectives
  • Deliver effective multi-platform, integrated sales presentations (broadcast, digital, virtual, and live events); negotiate and close accounts. 
  • Have a strong understanding of our radio stations their station digital assets (e.g. streaming, stations websites, and apps), and digital audience extension products to deliver a complete marketing solution to advertisers
  • Maintain and consistent updating of your knowledge of the local competitive landscape and emerging tech and company initiatives to best position Cumulus Media in the marketplace as the go-to provider for the best marketing solutions. 
  • Think creatively and generate original ideas
  • Follow all station and corporate procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular reports regarding sales, pipeline lists, forecasts, and competitive analysis.


Job Requirements


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms and CRM tools
  • Excellent phone appointment setting skills
  • Experience developing new business relationships in an outside/inside sales role
  • Excellent presenter to clients of sales opportunities and post-sale successes
  • Strong understanding of the lead generation and ability to connect with viable prospects
  • Comprehension of sales metrics in order to fill a sales funnel and robust pipeline of residual business
  • Positive attitude with the willingness to get beyond comfort zone to grow professionally
  • High energy and passion for the job
  • Flexible and creative
  • Digital and Social Media marketing savvy 
  • 3+ years in Media Sales background preferred, but not required
  • Marketing or related field is preferred, but not required
